Geocache Description:


This cache has been hidden with the permission of Flatts Lane Woodland Country Park. It has been hidden by a Year 4 group from Normanby Primary School as part of the outdoor education package, The cache is a small Clip & lock container which has a logbook and a few small swapables inside. The cache is located just of the main path in a wooded area which is a little tricky to access.

Flatts Lane Woodland Country Park has picnic areas, nature trails, playground, trim trail, visitor centre and also being a mature woodland this site offers a long list of wildlife too.

Parking (NZ 552 169)is "FREE" but park at the lower carpark (open 24/7) near to the road or else you may get locked in if parking in the higher carparks
