2th Four Days Marches mini-event Overasselt
This mini-event offers the opportunity to combine two great hobbies: walking and geocaching. Welcome to Overasselt!
Dit mini-event vindt plaats op VRIJDAG 19 JULI 2013 van 6.00 u tot 12.00 u.
Alle afstanden (behalve de 40 km voor militairen) komen hier langs.
This mini-event takes place on FRIDAY 19 JULI 2013 from 6:00 h to 12:00 h.
All distances (except the military 40 km) pass the event location.
Op de laatste dag van de Vierdaagse doet het wandellegioen Overasselt aan. De lopers worden hier enthousiast onthaalt met gejuich, applaus en muziek.
Op de coördinaten vindt je de brandweerkazerne van Overasselt. Elk jaar stelt de vrijwillige brandweer op deze dag haar ruimte ter beschikking aan EHBO-vereniging Maria Goretti. Goed-getrainde EHBO-ers staan klaar om je blaren te verzorgen en er zijn professionele masseurs om de pijn in je spieren te verlichten. Er zijn ook toiletten. De ideale plek voor een pitstop!
De exacte locatie van dit mini-event is herkenbaar aan het gecaching-logo. Je vindt hier een logboek en een doosje voor het uitwisselen van travel bugs en geocoins. Hopelijk tref je hier ook nog mede-geocachers, misschien loop je ze net mis. Zelf zijn we natuurlijk ook in de buurt, maar wellicht net even binnen druk met het blaren prikken.
Uiteraard zijn ook geocachende toeschouwers van harte welkom!
On the last day of the Four Days Marches the walking legion visits Overasselt. The walkers are welcomed with enthousiastic cheering, applause and music.
At the coordinates you will find the fire department of Overasselt. Each year on this day the voluntary fire department open their doors for the first-aid association Maria Goretti. Well-trained first-aiders are ready to take care of your blisters and there are professional masseurs to relieve the pain in your muscles. There are also toilets. The ideal place for a pit stop!
The exact location of this mini-event is identified by the gecaching-logo. You'll find a log and a little box for exchanging travel bugs and geocoins. Hopefully you meet some other geocachers, maybe you just missed them. Of course we are also somewhere near, but maybe inside taking care of someone's blisters.
Of course, also geocaching spectators are welcome!
