Fairly simple cache to find. Park in the fishing pond parking lot and it is a short walk from there.
This cache was created as a series for our Annual Parks & Recreation month, celebrated every July. The contest is over, but the cache is still ready to be found. Check back with us again next July for next years Geocache contest. http://www.sjc.utah.gov/recreation/parks.asp.
This cache is located near the fishing ponds and the Jordan River Parkway Trail. The trail runs from north to south adjacent to the Jordan River. It is approximately three miles long throughout the City and connects to Sandy City on the north end and Draper City on the south end. The fishing ponds are a great way to spend some time as a family, a scout or youth group, or on your own for some quiet time. The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources keeps the ponds stocked with fish (remember to obtain a fishing license before throwing a hook in).
