The covered wagon, or prairie schooner, is a cultural icon of the old west. Can you imagine traveling cross country to Idaho or Montana in one of these? No shock absorbers, no iTunes, no conditioned air. This was their transport and their hotel. Moreover, this will serve as our hotel; a travel bug hotel. The fettered cache container should be a fairly safe location to drop off your travelers until they find a prairie schooner, conestoga, geovan, or airplane of their own to continue their journey.
