Wildlife abounds in the retention pond and the swamp nearby. No you don't have to get wet nor will you be in danger, just don't feed the alligators. It's Florida law. They have plenty to eat without people being added to the menu.
Teeny, tiny, odd little cache, log only, bring your own pen. Parking is available, you need to take a short stroll . Stay out of the woods and the fence.
I have replaced the original cache that disappeared. Probably the giant tree loving ants carried it away... But a new and improved cache is there awaiting discovery.
Apparently it has grown into a jungle there since I placed it! A little bushwacking and stepping off the path are necessary now!
