Geocache Description:

CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES.

This is the third in a series of caches dedicated to my life-long love of Star Wars. For this cache, I am focusing on the alien species of the Star Wars galaxy, and the answers may come from the movies as well as the Expanded Universe. You must answer each question to solve the coordinates for the puzzle.

Use the singular form of the species name for each answer. (i.e., Ewok rather than Ewoks)

Coordinates are in the form
N AB CD.EFG
W HI JK.LMN

Star Wars

1. Sebulba, the podracer pilot who races against Anakin Skywalker in the Boonta Eve Classic, is a member of this alien race, native to Malastare. Letter A is the number of letters in the species name. (First appearance in Episode I: The Phantom Menace)

2. These short, rodent-like natives of Tatooine were passionate scavengers, seeking out technology for sale or trade in the deep deserts in their huge sandcrawler transports. Take the number of letters in the species name and subtract one to come up with Letter B. (First appearance in Episode IV: A New Hope)

3. This species of amphibious beings has large eyes on stalks and beak-like mouths, and hails from the planet Tibrin. The species has a two-word name. Letter C can be found by subtracting the number of letters in the second word from the number in the first. (First appearance in Episode VI: Return of the Jedi)

4. Grand Admiral Thrawn (also known as Mitth'raw'nuruodo) is the most well-known member of this species, which, although Human-like, has blue skin and red, glowing eyes. Take the number of letters in the species name and substitute that for Letter D. (First appearance in Heir to the Empire by Timothy Zahn)

5. A member of this species threatened Luke Skywalker on his first visit to Mos Eisley Spaceport. Unfortunately for him, Obi-Wan Kenobi disarmed him - literally. Take the number of letters in the species name for Letter E. (First appearance in Episode IV: A New Hope)

6. Perhaps the most reviled denizen of the Star Wars universe - Jar Jar Binks - is a member of this species. Letter F is the number of letters in the species name. (First appearance in Episode I: The Phantom Menace)

7. A species of large gastropods with short, stubby arms, wide cavernous mouths, and huge eyes, the most well-known of which is Jabba Desilijic Tiure. Take the number of letters in the species name and subtract one to come up with Letter G. (First appearance in Episode VI: Return of the Jedi)

8. Colloquially known as "Hammerheads," this species has four throats and speaks in a stereophonic language. Letter H is the number of letters in the species name. (First appearance in Episode IV: A New Hope)

9. These tall, hairy humanoids calls themselves the "People of the Trees." Their homeworld, Kashyyyk, boasts wroshyr trees that are large enough to house entire cities kilometers above the planet surface. Letter I is the number of letters in the species name. (First appearance in Episode IV: A New Hope)

10. There are two humanoid species native to the sinkhole world of Utapau. Count the number of consonants in the species names of both, and you will have Letter J. (First appearance in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith)

11. This species is a sentient insectoid race hailing from a world with the same name, of whom the bounty hunter Zuckuss and the Rogue Squadron pilot Ooryl Qyrgg were two notable examples. Letter K is the number of letters in the species name. (First appearance in Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back)

12. This aquatic species is one of two senient races on the world of Dac. The most famous denizen of Dac is the Rebel leader Admiral Ackbar. Letter L is the number of letters in the first word of this two-word species name. (First appearance in Episode VI: Return of the Jedi)

13. Shaak Ti and Ahsoka Tano were both Jedi members of this carnivorous species from the planet Shili. Letter M can be found by subtracting four from the number of letters in the species name. (First appearance in Episode II: Attack of the Clones)

14. This species has appeared in five of the six Star Wars movies, but the most notable member, Greedo, was killed by Han Solo within moments of his introduction. Letter N is the number of letters in the species name. (First appearance in Episode IV: A New Hope)
