Minnesota Spirit Quest - Evergreen Point Cemetery
Evergreen Point Cemetery is located in Lakeville, on the corner of HWY 5 and County Road 46. This cemetery is very small and easy to miss. Please be respectful of the graves in the cemetery and only seek this cache during daylight hours.
This is my first multi-cache. Having recently finished the MultiMonth Challenge, I have grown a new appreciation for multi-caches. This is a simple two-stage multi with a short walk between stages.
At the posted coordinates, you will find a military headstone for SGT Joseph C. Strachan. He was in the 13th Minnesota Infantry during the Spanish American War.
At the bottom of his headstone, you will find two numbers. You will need these numbers to find Stage 2.
A = the first number
B = the second number
Stage 2 is located at N 44 42.(A - 908) W 093 17.(B - 1068)
