Geocache Description:

This cache gives those who love large machinery a chance of getting close up in a safe environment.

Mount Tom Price, a particularly large and rich resource of hematite iron, became the base on which Australia's largest iron ore enterprise is based. The Mark 36 Electra Haul Truck near this cache served at the Tom Price Mine between 1980 and 1992. It is estimated that it moved 23 million tonnes of ore. Without these giants and their modern counterparts, the ore industry in WA wouldn't be as important as it is today. There are two challenges for you at this cache. The first being to calculate how far your vehicle could travel if it had the same size fuel tank as the haul truck. (Data on information board.) The second is to take a photo of a companion seemingly holding the haul truck on their hand. Please add these to your notes.

This is a high Muggle area for vehicle traffic so pretend you are taking a photo while extracting the cache. The cache will be maintained by a local. The cache you are seeking is a Pilbara coloured mint tin. Please bring your own pen.
