Geocache Description:

The original:  http://coord.info/

Drive up East Hill Road and onto Skyline Drive. Park at the Wynn Nature Center and use their trails to get to the cache. We could not duplicate the wonderful hidden cone midden the squirrels left there. I am afraid we humans are not very skilled at caching in the woods like some of our smaller furry friends. This cache may get buried if we get a lot of snow.

Cache resurrection notes:  The landscape has changed slightly since the original cache was placed, so the hide has been moved to allow access, but keep with the original intent of the cache. The original log is still there. Take a few minutes to read through some of the logs!

Cache Container Update: 7/8/2016 I replaced the old metal container with a new plastic ammo can. Alas, I forgot a new logbook, so please, if you're back there before me, bring a piece of paper to serve as a temp log! :-) Thanks. Please be sure to use that cone midden to help camo the hide when you're done!

Please use the Wynn Nature Center trails until you are near ground zero.  Be respectful of the landscape and do not bushwack.  If you look at the map, you'll see that Skyline Drive appears to have closer acess to the cache than the parking area.  There is a trail coming from that road, however, there is NO safe parking.  So, feel free to access from that side, as long as you park somewhere safe and walk the road to access the trail.

Also, please do NOT park on Woodman Lane. There is no public parking area there, and you would have to cross private property to reach the cache. The recommended access is to use the listed parking coordinates.

June 15 - Labor Day: cabin is staffed from 10 am - 6 pm daily. "Self-guided hikes" are $8 adult, $7 seniors, $5 youth under, $25 family
