This is the first in what should prove to be a series of caches on the property and nearby. Troop 54 pride ourselves in our back-woods adventures and we have quite a few Scouts who are REALLY into GeoCaching. This Cache was created as part of their GeoCaching Merit Badge requirement. The Scouts created the cache, chose the location, obtained approval from the sponsoring organization and you can tell that I am proud of their hard work.
While visiting, I would ask that you exercise your best "Leave No Trace" spirit, and Cache In/Trash Out. You may enjoy observing the Solar Panel on the Shed (not a hint) ... that powers a house lighting system inside so that the boys can pack up to and from night time departures for their camping experiences.
There is enough room for really small tradables, but mostly this is just a log book.
