Geocache Description:

~~Little Blue River Trail~~

Follow the Coordinates to the next area that will show you where to find the cache.  Enjoy your Mini Trip in Fairbury!!

Location #1(starting coordinates)-  I guess for a better explantion I needed another number to fill in for the end coordinates and I wanted this to be near the hiking trail at some point.  I knew you would see my humor.  To find A -how many numbers are on this sign? (UPDATE: SIGN IS GONE AND I DON'T KNOW IF IT WILL GET REPLACED!!) There for this first number is 0.

Location #2 (Rock Island Depot)- N 40 07.980  W 097 10.453   If is wasn't for this place we would not have our trail today.  It is now a Museum and after the railroad tracks were taken out we have our trail.  When you pull up the coordinates will be at a sign that gives you a sign for the Museum.  To Find H -what is the third number in the address?  Also while here there is a memorial wall among the beautiful flowers and landscaping.  Here you will find the answers to F and G - On the Memorial what are the 2nd and 3rd digits on the train's coal car?  Sorry, I cannot tell you when the museum is open but a great place to visit!  They also have volunteers who have done wonders with this old place so show us history!

Location #3 (Downtown Mural)- N 40 08.166  W 097 10.789   This shows an oldtime scene of Fairbury as a circus use to call this town home.  The different detail and history on the side of a building.  It was defaced once that I know of but quickly repaired by "wonderful citizens" of Fairbury without a blink of an eye.  A place worth seeing!  To find I and J - you will be looking for when the mural was originally painted, you will need the last digits.  You are not done here yet because hidden here is another number you need!  For the Answer to C - Find Muriel how much does she cost? (now that wasn't so hard talking to strangers, haha.)

Location #4 (Frontier Fun Park)- N 40 08.180  W 097 11.386  If there are children in your car this is the point you send them to play on the playground!  This place was constructed ALL through volunteers, awesome isn't it!!!  There is a donor wall you may want to get a few answers from but you are allowed to play also in the fun park! (The only warning I want to plass on is: to get kids back on the move is VERY hard!!)  Ok, what we are here for....... on the Donor Wall.  To answer B -what is the first number in The Culp's address?  To Answer D -Find the 2nd oldest High School Class mentioned on the wall, what is the last digit of that class?  And finally that your mind is spent from your little drive we will take it easy.  To find E -how many letters are in fun park?

This should all you need to find the cache, almost, by another sign.

The Little Blue River Trail was added in the fall of 2006.  It starts at the old Dam site and walker can stroll across the old Rock Island Railroad Bridge and through the Flathead Wildlife Management Area.  It is also located less than a mile from multiple other locations which include other caches in the Fairbury area.

We’ve added the caches to show you a few “sights” to add to your walk along the trail.  We hope you enjoy this cute little trail.  Please use stealth as this trail is used OFTEN, and bring your own writing stick as most in this series do not include one.

I do urge you to use care with any caches so they last for the next finder,

PLEASE DO NOT DISTROY THEM OR THE LOCATION IN YOUR FIND!!

As always CITO as needed!!!
