No need for bushwhacking or going into the wetlands, as it only ~ 1 m from paved path. There are a lot of cyclists, inline skaters and walkers on the path, but you should be able to make the grab undetected as you read the sign.
(The spoiler hint can be decoded on the website and smartphones, but can't be read on many GPSr units.)
The Humber Bay Wetlands Rehabilitation and Shoreline Naturlalization Project has transformed the area along the Humber Bay Shores in Mimico. Although there are a lot of condominiums (and more being built), all living things need a suitable home in which to live and grow. At this location the project is creating conditions for a healthy fish and wildlife community. This is one of several projects along the waterfront. Here, they have planted cattails, and several other types of aquatic plants to create a wetland habitat for wildlife. As well, native trees and shrubs have been planted along the shoreline to create a natural setting for other animals.
