Limestone is formed by the accumulation of minerals being deposited on top of each other over a period of thousands of years. Seeping rainwater mixes with sulfurous gases that naturally occur in cracks, which dissolve the limestone. The result is limestone with honeycombs of chambers.
This is another easy park and grab in the Great Hills area. Not big enough for trinkets for the kids but the kids will appreciate the ease of the find. And a gold dollar for the FTF.
