Cache is located on state owned land below Black Mountain along the shore of Lake George. Black Mountain Point is easiest accessed from water though can be reached by land after a decent hike. Docks are located nearby and there are several nice spots to pull a kayak or canoe up on shore. Cache is a camo mighty mega container with log and pencil.
If you search the shoreline of the nearby bay you'll find o-rings in the rocks that were used to tie the steamboat Minnihaha to the shore- the more adventurous may choose to snorkel or scuba to view of the remnants of the old ship that burned and sank to the bottom of the bay in 1893.
