The Ford Orion
First manufactured in Boeotia by the goddess Ghia, Orion's father was an Escort. He had a brilliant childhood, having lots of toys that his contempories lacked, such as central locking, ABS, and a magical ability to walk on water. He used this ability to travel to the island of Chios (or some say Cortina), where he got drunk and attacked the daughter of the king - who promptly knocked his headlights out! Boy did that make Orion mad! He drove all over the place, clocking up miles until getting a bit of a makeover and seeing the light again.
His demise was sad - he was being driven around by Diana, a fellow hunter, trying out his new Zetec bow and arrow combo when he was set upon by the Ford Scorpio, a viscous model that had trouble with its Pinto. Both demised in the ensuring fight and in memory were placed in the sky to shine down on us all.

Achilles did love the story of Orion
The brawling, the hunting, fast chases and beer!
if this car he had driven, to war, and to die on
With alloy wheels and so on, he'd have much to cheer!
