This little red cabin has been a fixure in my life for over 20 years now. Over the years, I've heard stories of how it used to be a schoolhouse years ago but nobody could tell me detailed history on it. I recently found an old map of Rotterdam, NY from 1866 that lists this building as "Schoolhouse #11". It's at least 150 years old. If anyone has any more info on it, I'll love to hear it.
