Geocache Description:

Plan on getting wet and blowing bubbles. Small waterproof container in 11 feet of water, (give or take dpending on the tide) Log, swag, while I can promise you wont get into ticks here, you might find crabs.

Park on the beach as close as the tide will allow but watch for soft spots. Ive dived this part of Texas since 1995 and always saw this spot as a potential quick spot for blowing some bubbles but never had the chance. This is my first underwater cache and the only one in this area, so let's see who the pro-tough divers are! This container is in about 11 feet of water, secured to an anchor on the bottom on a  brass swivel. The box contains log, some swag, and hopefully no water. You'll need to retrieve the cache, get topside before opening to sign the log, swap swag if desired, and return the cache to the anchor. Just a suggestion but I would tie a buoy, water bottle, float to the anchor to make it easier to return to the anchor to replace the cache. This isnt the Bahamas folks, visibility is 2-3 feet on a good day. My experience diving this area leads me to suggest also, waiting for light winds, sun high in the sky for max vis, and patience.

Ive dived the Conn Brown harbor to the North to retrieve stolen cars, secure sinking boats, you know, WORK! But the older I get the more I see diving as play and I love sharing my diving experiences.

FTF has choice of swag. There are 2 pirate paracord bracelets inside that I would be inclined to grab.
