With my cache creation and Berli’s story tell skills, we came up with this somewhat crazy cache. I have not seen a container quite like this one, but maybe you have. Anyway, I hope you have fun with the puzzle and then finding the cache.
After you make it to the fork, find the sign names within the story. If the name is used, only count it once, even if it is used multiple times.
Have fun! More to come soon…
The adventures of Johnson and Kirby
Once upon a time on a island far away where the tricky palm trees grew giant blueberries instead of coconuts there lived two beach bums named Johnson and Kirby. They resided near a factory where, even though they were beach bums and liked to do nothing, they helped develop a new line of French Salad Dressing called Loubet Ranch. It was the summer of 1903 and business was picking up like nothing else. The island occupants were demanding moore ranch!!!! Moore Ranch!!! Marty, the factory manager, came to Kirby one day and said, “If we don’t triple r ranch output we’ll never be able to meet the needs of the island people!” So Kirby found Johnson and told him the news. Johnson said, “This ranch business is getting to be too much. I think we should try something new.” Kirby nodded in agreement. So they found Marty, told him they were quitting, and set off on their new adventure. There was a creekwood (a forest growing by a creek) that ran parallel to the old Ranch factory. They followed it all the way to the other side of the island, where they had never been before. They passed by numerous factories and vineyards. They saw the Lazy J Ranch and Conn Valley vineyards. But none of these places seemed appealing to the two travelers. Finally, as the sun began to set, they noticed a tall gate in the distance. The metal structure had star cutouts all over where yellow light from inside streamed through the holes. As they approached the gate Kirby stepped up and knocked on the metal. At first it was silent, but then….slowly the gate began to open. The two friends cautiously entered. They walked down a long hallway and at the end they found a small door that read, “Welcome to Casa de la Luna, where all your dreams will come true.” Johnson slowly turned the doorknob and pushed the door open. Their eyes widened and Kirby gasped. This was what they had been looking for…they knew at that moment that all their dreams would come true.
