This goes back to when Mrs J.A.R and I were dating, some twenty-two years ago. I was offered some work that summer by Mrs J.A.Rs' grandfather, the job to sand all the wood on her grandfathers sailboat. I was given a sanding block and lots of sandpaper, it took three whole days to sand all the teak from old and dull to recycled back to new, shining beautifully. Those three days changed my life forever, not only did I admire the transformation in the wood, but the transformation in me. In those three days I learned about work ethic, hard work, and found my true calling- a carpenter.
