Pole Pick Mtn Startup Traditional Cache

trapper and me: I hate to archive one of my caches but this one has been unavailable anyway as it got wiped out in the Carlton Complex Fire. All vegetation was gone and trees are black poles. I had thought of rehiding it but, instead of this being a groomed ski trail this winter it has been plowed and they are hauling logs down it. Maybe a future date when the area recovers I will hide another.

Geocache Description:


This Cache is off of Hwy 20 about 12 miles from Twisp. Your turn on forest service road 600 (Pole Pick Mtn) The cache is up about .16 mi (not quite 2/10th) when you see a sign made by the forest service park here. Cache site is visible but is off road. Plenty of room to turn a normal vehicle around here. This road is a groomed winter ski trail so you can park at the plowed spot and walk or ski in. Unless the snow is to deep your should be able to get to it in winter. No parking permits required and dogs are allowed. Pole Pick view cache is further up the road.

This cache is a small camo'd lock n lock. No special reason for a cache here. I was out and about on my birthday and just felt like it.
