View to a View Traditional Cache

I quickly came to love the area around Booroomba Rocks several years ago when I first came here with SecretSquirrel-BJC, who has spent many, many weekends here hanging of cliff faces by his fingernails. There are several other caches along the ridge and near the cliffs but this location has been surprisingly devoid of caches - until now.

The GZ for this cache has a great view across the valley towards another ACT cache by 2 Leg Drive called South Canberra Views (GC27C5). To get here, park at the Booroomba Rocks car park then follow the trail to the "staging area" at the top of Booroomba Rocks (30 minute uphill walk). Next there is about 50 metres of scrub to the bottom of a long granite slab. Head up the slab to the top, then there is about 50 metres of tuff bush bashing to the GZ. BE VERY CAREFUL at GZ, there are sheer cliffs a few metres from the cache location - definitely NOT kid friendly.

The cache container is a regular size ammo can.
