Geocache Description:

Wakkatoo's 3rd cache. You are looking for a 50ml black plastic screwtop container. Should be an easy park and grab and this cache was suggested by the youngest geokid.

Please bring a pen to sign the log.

As this cache has been muggled twice in its very short life, please take care placing the cache back to ensure it remains out of sight.

Originally called 'Commissioners Flat' the area later became a cricket ground. In 1888, WG Spence, a local councillor suggested that a fishpond would enhance the reserve.

Park Lake was opened in May 1889, stocked with fish, a rockery and a fountain.
