This is my first geocache event. I am approaching my 500th cache and I have decided to do something special for N° 500. My plan is to have a Meet and Greet lunch in Fontainebleau Forest. C'est mon premier événement géocache. J'approche mon 500e cache et j'ai décidé de faire quelque chose de spécial pour celle ci. Mon plan est d'avoir un Meet and Greet déjeuner dans la forêt de Fontainebleau.

NOTE:
Fires are forbidden in the forest (especially in August), hence my original idea of a BBQ is not possible.
I will provide some salads, bread, condiments, etc. and a folding table.
Please bring something to share for lunch.
If you wish to bring something to drink, then all the better.

For information, there are more than 50 caches within a 3 km radius, which allows for all levels of geocachers who want to search Fonty Forest in the morning and/or afternoon.
For those interested, I plan to adventure into Le Trou de la Mort, GC2TX75, a D4 T4. I prefer to attempt this cache before lunch as I consider it dangerous to do a Difficulty 4 activity when we have had a few glasses of wine.
There is, of course, no obligation to go into the Trou de la Mort if this is not your thing. In fact, I will be happy to have a photographer on the outside to capture the moment of getting in and getting out.

Et pour ceux que ça intéressent, de s'aventurer dans Le Trou de la Mort, GC2TX75, une D4/T4. Je préfère tenter ce cache avant le déjeuner parce que je considère qu'il est dangereux de faire une activité Difficulté 4, lorsque nous avons eu quelques verres de vin.
Il y a, bien sûr, aucune obligation d'aller dans le Trou de la Mort si ce n'est pas votre truc. En fait, je serais heureux d'avoir un photographe à l'extérieur pour capturer l'entrée et la sortie.
For those who would like to do the Trou de la Mort:
* Bring a headlamp plus a spare torch.
* Bring a camera.
* Bring insect repellant
* Bring a *complete* change of clothes.
* And especially, bring your sense of humour (and dose of courage).
I'll bring a couple of strong bags (the type builders use for rubble) for the entrance, if muddy.
Pour ceux qui voudraient faire le Trou de la Mort :
* Apportez une lampe frontale ainsi que d'une torche de secours.
* Apportez un appareil photo.
* Apportez anti-moustiques
* Apportez un change complet de vos vêtements.
* Et surtout, apportez votre sens de l'humour (et une dose de courage).
Je vais apporter quelques bâches pour l'entrée, si c'est boueux.
