An area of wet woodlands and lowland heath providing an increasingly rare habitat which supports life for many birds and invertebrates. While finding this cache, you can explore the views, flora and fauna of the broad-leafed and coniferous woodlands, the naturally created Heath Pond and the delights of a heathland habitat.
The terrain is fairly even, however areas can be muddy in the winter. Boardwalks have been provided over permanently wet locations. The area is fairly open, with naturally made paths. Do explore the woodlands, but please keep the heathland peaceful for the wildlife that lives there. Dogs welcome under close control. Please dispose of dog mess responsibly.
