As A Kid: This Is The Third Cache Of This Series. The Great Toys Played With Before Video Games Consumed Society. As A Kid We Used Our Imagination, Played For Hours Outside, Or Got Creative!
So many different types of cars, trucks, planes, ect. Small enough to put in your pocket and take anywhere with you. I would play in the sand box for hours making roads, homes and garages. The back of my moms patern board for sewing became a city of markered roads. I loved racing cars around a track that had a lever you pulled that would propel cars around the track racing. I have many cars. My parents would always tell us if we were good, when we went to the store they would buy us a car. My most prized collection is the set my grandmother had at her house. They were mostly all from the 60's. She kept them for all the grandchildren to play with when visiting. My grandma would watch me sunday nights when my parents went to church and I would play with those cars the whole time. I remember it like it was yesterday, I put the cars in their case and went to put them in the closet but grandma stopped me. She told me to take them home and just bring them whenever I came over. That was the last Sunday I ever spent with my grandma. She must have known something was gonna happen to her. She wanted me to have the collection and not one of the other grandchildren. To this day I cherish that collection that remains in their carrying case seperate from my other cars. It's amazing that something so small can carry such great memories.
Happy Caching!
