Geocache Description:

Placed to recognize the old Alma Mater and the Class of 1967!

Easy find-difficulty of 1 but terrain of 2 because it is not wheelchair accessible.  Be sure to trek toward the school after finding the cache.  The old building you see at the edge of the road on your right as you proceed to the school housed the Driver's Ed. car and at least one other car (I think it was an old Pontiac which was fondly known as the Tank!).  Man, those are still narrow openings!  And just a bit further on stands the old bell tower from the original school, though I don't really remember a bell.  But at my age I don't really remember very much anymore.  The Class of 1967, at the time, was the largest class to graduate with a total of 35 kids-all terrific classmates by the way. The newer school is certainly a great addition for the town of Lisbon, though, unfortunately, todays' kids will never be able to experience throwing records out of the French lab windows on the third floor!  Lisbon was a nice town to grow up in-truely an example of "it takes a community to raise a child". Use stealth when accessing and please REPLACE EXACTLY AS FOUND. Thank you.
