Had a long weekend of Cache Stashing planned...but Mother Nature thought differently. In spite of...I mean, IN STRIDE WITH HER (weeks' long torrental showers), I decided to go on and enjoy what she had to give - A whole lotta' RAIN, NOT SHINE.
When placing this cache, I was privvy to seeing the beauty of rain that isn't always evident. I watched the natural paths that the water currents take from hi to low, and was amazed by the cuts the water made into the crust of the earth, through fallen debris and even in washing the stone (concrete & asphalt) out of its way. It was really awe-inspiring to watch and listen to the water crashing off the over flowing rooftops and down the nearby gutters. It rippled through the parking lot and splashed through the drain feed at the rear of the property. The ground cover was so saturated in every place I stepped that water gushed into my shoes...and then I realized I was being eaten alive by mosquitoes! Beware.
You are looking for a solid black canister (PB size).
Mosquitoes: NOT one of Mother Nature's most remarkable creatures (in my opinion)...itch. itch.
