One of a few caches along a walk across Holt Heath, an area of increasingly rare heathland habitat. I hope you will enjoy the far-reaching views in all directions as well as spotting the fauna and flora.
The cache is located alongside a wide track which might me muddy and rutted after rain.
Cattle and ponies and cattle might wander freely as part of the heath management; please keep dogs under control if you meet them.
A walk across a landscape that would have been common in East Dorset 200 years ago now in the hands of the National Trust and English Nature, who kindly gave permission for the placement of this cache.
Parking for 2 or 3 cars can be found at a lay-by on the roaad.
Wheelchair accessible to within a metre but help might be needed to retrieve the cache.
