One of a few caches along a walk across Holt Heath, an area of increasingly rare heathland habitat. I hope you will enjoy the far-reaching views in all directions as well as spotting the fauna and flora. Cattle and ponies wander freely as part of the heath management; please keep dogs under control if you meet them.
A walk across a landscape that would have been common in East Dorset 200 years ago now in the hands of the National Trust and English Nature, who kindly gave permission for the placement of this cache. Parking for 2 or 3 cars can be found at N50 50.475 W001 55.276 or N50 50.495 W001 55.265 . The cache is off the main track. Please keep to the path. A place to stand and enjoy the view near a reminder of our Bronze Age past.
