One of a few caches along a walk across Holt Heath, an area of increasingly rare heathland habitat. Cattle and ponies wander freely as part of the heath management; please keep dogs under control if you meet them. Look out for sundew and bog asphodel but keep children safe near the pond
A walk across a landscape that would have been common in East Dorset 200 years ago now in the hands of the National Trust and English Nature, who kindly gave permission for the placement of this cache. There is a steep downward slope between #3 and #4. You are looking for a hanging bison tube. Wheelchair accessible to within a metre or two. Help might be needed to retrieve the cache.
