She's a Witch! Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

AllstarSS: Checked on this one and it was there, but since it has received little activity over the last year, I'm going to archive it and open up the area for a new hide. Thanks to all who found it.

Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the quest for The Holy Logbook, a series of caches based on scenes from the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Remember to write down the clue on the container or logbook for the final.

Update: The Holy Logbook is now a stand alone puzzle, so you no longer have to write down the clue in the cache.

Up until this point, all of the clues found by King Cacher were relatively easy finds, despite a few obstacles every here and there. But this clue gave them a lot of trouble. There was no evidence of any clue anywhere. They checked all the obvious spots, expanded their search, nothing. Eventually King Cacher finally said, "I wonder if this one is placed by the mythical WitchCacher, someone who casts a spell on anyone who searches for her cache." One of the crew members said "I've heard there's also a society that goes by a name referring to the end of a mule. Maybe one of the members of that society is the WitchCacher." Later he adds on "If we don't find this thing, I say we find her and burn her!" King Cacher replies "Or we could just ask for a hint." They searched, searched, and searched, from sunrise all the way until dusk. Nothing. So, they hang their hands and walk back to their camp without a clue to The Holy Logbook. One of the crew members says "So, are we going to ask for a hint?" King Cacher replies "No. If we are going to find this clue, we're going to find it on our own. Tomorrow morning, we search again." Many of the crew members were not especially pleased by this decision, but they went along with the King's decision. That morning, they returned to ground zero, and to the crew's disbelief, King Cacher found the clue within seconds of arriving. King Cacher finally says, "I guess the spell has worn off." The all write down the clue, and continue on their quest.

If you have not seen the movie, you can take a look at the related web page to get an idea for this scene.

Unless a spell is cast upon you, this clue should not be as difficult as King Cacher made it. However, please refrain from posting spoilers of any kind (big hints, pictures of container, etc.). Also, please take the time to replace the cache EXACTLY as found!

Cache is hidden along the Witchduck Rd. multi-purpose path. Please use the parking coordinates below! Do NOT park on the street!
