Just to the side of the path find your way into the `garden'. You are looking for a multi-limbed tree. The cash is in the centre of the tree about knee high. Continue along the path til you come to cycle post for Alvaston. Take this path.
A series of 8 caches on a short circular walk which incorporates footpaths, bridlepaths and cycle routes. Discovered this walk with the dog whilst looking for fruits from the hedgerow for my home brewing activities. Elderberries, blackberries and rosehips from the wild dog rose make most excellent wines and keep me well stocked through the following summer. This walk can be done as a short 2-3 mile walk or can be incorporated as a slight detour from the longer series of caches set by various members along the length of the river Derwent. How far or how short you make this walk is entirely up to you. At the end of each cache I will give you directions to your next find.
