Tokai Forest.... Home of the dreaded Tokai Witch. Legend has it that centuries ago, Tokai Witch roamed these woods at night, leading recreational walkers and animals into corners of the vast log lands where they would no doubt get lost and the Tokai Witch would slowly torture and cut them up while their still bodies hung from a meat hook attached to a tree...
Other newer victims would be forced to stand in the corner and listen to the activities..... until their turn came around
These 3 students from the local film scool decided to try find out more about the legend. They gathered all their gear and set off into the forest at dusk.... never to be heard from again. What ever happened to them? Police reports are very vague saying only that the students must have drowned in the nearby river while crossing one of the many bridges. No bodies were ever recovered but the occasional dog has brought home a tasty bone to sharpen their teeth on.
Why not go see for yourself. You may even find a container with a notebook from one of the students...
This cache was placed for those who are willing to accept the challenge of a night find deep in the heart of the forest.
The D rating is for finding this cache at night, i did have very good gps reception as the container is not under any trees, only a huge log.
Please excercise caution at night, i would not like to hear reports of geocachers body parts ending up in the cache. The Tokai Witch seems to like hovering above your left shoulder to get a look at electrical devices... meat hook in hand... dunno maybe she is right handed or something?
