Situated along the Sturt Highway, Fallen Arches replaces a recently archived cache called The Big Shoe Tree that the owner could no longer maintain. It was still an active cache and an interesting spot to stop and stretch your legs so we decided to place a new cache at the location. The Tree has finally succumbed to the shoes and elements and has fallen over. The Cache is an official Geocaching.com small size container, which has a log, pencil, a FTF Signal the frog coin and a few small swaps. If heading south you can park right next to the tree but if you park on the opposite side please be careful crossing the road and keep your eye on the geokids..There was another shoe tree 12km north along the Sturt Highway which hid another replacement cache called Shoe Tree Two but that one has been archived and another on the Ramco to Cadell Road called Boots 'n' all which has also now been archived
