The Bitners Traditional Cache

This cache commemorates our friendship with the Bitners, an American family who lived in Raymond Street for about four years. When they arrived, there were five of them but by the time they returned to America in July 2013, there were eight of them.  We first met them whilst playing on the play equipment in this small park.  We were sad to learn that they would be leaving Australia, as the area would be poorer without them.

The cache container is a micro of familiar type. New note 27 November 2017. This park has recently changed and the cache is no longer where it used to be. In fact, we are surprised that it is there at all. However, a log entry today confirms that it has survived the removal of all the play equipment. Thanks vk2df!
