One day, Buster Stupid asked his father, “Why don’t we ever go geocaching any more?” His father, who had been napping on top of the freezer, replied, “I guess because we never seem to find any geocaches.”
Just then, Petunia Stupid walked in. “Why don’t we hide a geocache instead of trying to find one!” she shouted. “That would be so much easier.” (She was the smartest one in her family.)
“That’s a great idea. I don’t think that you have to be able to find geocaches in order to hide them,” said Stanley Stupid. “Where did we put that GPSer?”
Buster looked in the refrigerator and Petunia looked in the doghouse. Finally, Grandpa Stupid walked in and said, “Look what I found in the mailbox.”
Petunia said, “I love to solve crossword puzzles. Let’s make a very special crossword puzzle that will lead people to our cache.” And so it was, that the Stupids hid their very first geocache.
