The harsh African Sun bakes the back of your head. Your windows are rolled down all the way but there is just no breeze to cool you down. The yellow desert spreads out all around you up to where it meets up with the dark mountains far away. In front of you the dusty road lies in wait.
Petroleum is pumping through your veins, and the pistons in your heart are chugging away while you bear forward. Just the way it should be. Whitewall tyres crunching as they roll the miles away.
But as any old car knows, one day the speedometer will stop. The journey will end and the big heart beneath the bonnet will beat no more. Maybe, just maybe, you will find a nice shady spot where you can dim your lights.
This cache is for those that Love the open road and old cars. Have a look around and allow your mind to drift back to the days before traction control, ABS brakes, power steering and air-cons. Walk around inside and outside and have a good look around, there are lots to see. Just for fun, share your favourite photo with us in your log.
Even though this cache is called "Pandora's Box", there is another Pandora's Box somewhere else on the premises. If you do find it, have a look inside if you dare !!! Or you can open the Tjongololo's Box for the same effect. Just tell us if you found it, but don't tell anybody what happened. It will be our little secret.
