Mill of Tjevelekos
On the road from Levidi to ancient Orchomenos we can find at the right side the remains of the Tjevelekos mill building.
At this place the traveler could make a stop to rest and drink the fresh, clean spring water. This was a place not only for the local people, but also for the passing merchants, a kind of a local market where they all have the opportunity to exchange goods and be informed of news and ideas.
The owner of the building Panagiotopoulos, being from a very wealthy aristocratic family, brought the first steam engine to the area and used it as the main mill motor.
The locals remember his house as a very glamorous one, with ornaments of golden leavesand and fabulous parties with guests from all over Europe!
The remains of this mill are still struggling against time and remind us of past eras when the place was alive and full of people.

Ο μύλος του Τζεβελέκου
Πηγαίνοντας από το Λεβίδι προς τον αρχαίο Ορχομενό συναντάμε στο δεξί μας χέρι τα ερείπια του μύλου του Τζεβελέκου.
Σε εκείνο το σημείο του κάμπου μπορούσε ο ταξιδιώτης να ξαποστάσει, και να δροσιστεί με το γάργαρο νερό της πηγής. Ήταν τόπος συνάντησης όχι μόνο των κατοίκων αλλά και εμπόρων της περιοχής όπου συναναστρέφονταν και αντάλλασαν προϊόντα και ιδέες.
Ο ιδιοκτήτης του μύλου κος Παναγιωτόπουλος, αριστοκρατικής καταγωγής, έφερε στην περιοχή, για την κίνηση του μύλου, την πρώτη ατμομηχανή! Οι ντόπιοι ακόμη θυμούνται το σπίτι του το οποίο είχε κομμάτια χρυσού, και τα πάρτυ του ιδιοκτήτη με καλεσμένους από όλη την Ευρώπη!!!
Σήμερα τα ερείπια του μύλου αντιστέκονται πεισματικά στο χρόνο για να μας θυμίζουν τις παλαιότερες εποχές που έσφυζαν από ζωή.

Έχει μέγεθος nano με logbook. Δεν έχει στυλό.
