Geocache Description:

Proud Members Of

*** YOU MUST HAVE INTERNET ACCESS AT THE CACHE SITE ***

Congratulations go out to RamenNoodles and Team MollyMap
for their Co-FTF on this new type of cache.

Where PSJKids are being a PAIN in your neck.

We wanted to stir things up in Brevard County so we thought we would try something new..
We couldn't imagine a better way to "stir it up" than to go with a new kind of cache called an Intercache that will have you saying "I HATE YOU PSJKIDS" by the time you find the Final.

This geocache is NOT at the posted coordinates. Get your GPS-equipped smart phone fully charged and experience a different kind of geocaching adventure! This is an interactive geocache that will take you on a tour around Port St. John.

As far as we can tell, this is Florida's FIRST InterCache!

We hope you have fun with this! It took MANY hours on the computer and in the field to create this cache. Follow the intercache instructions exactly and you will not have any problems whatsoever in completing it. We tried to make this intercache completely wheelchair accessible all the way up to the final but unfortunately a couple of the points will be issues for someone completely confined to their chair; we are so sorry. The final is small but filled with some SWAG (some PSJKids bracelets and other little goodies). Please trade even or up. It is a Small container and in a place where muggles will see you so please use some stealth or use what little nearby cover there may be, thanks.

IMPORTANT: Read before proceeding...

What is an InterCache?
An InterCache is an interactive geocache. An intercache is a new way of creating a mystery geocache, where you can string together a combination of virtual and physical waypoints together. The entire geocache can be developed, edited, and played on your mobile phone's browser with no software required to download! Part virtual cache, part multicache, part puzzle cache, and part adventure.

How do you play?
First, make sure you have a compatible device. Go to intercaching.com on your smart phone and select the test button (do this outside for best results). If you are using a modern smart phone, it should be! Most Android and iPhone devices should work if you have location services turned on. You might not have a compatible phone... if not, you can make this a team effort with someone who does.

Let's Play!
If your device is compatible, then head on over to the stating coordinates and open MY INTERCACHE PAGE on your phone to start. At each of the stages you will see some places in PSJ that we like to visit. This will be a guided tour of Port ST. John! At each of the stages you will be asked a question. You must answer it correctly and be within the specified distance of the stage's destination in order to move on. There will be a distance and compass on the bottom of each destination screen.

Notes:
~ This is a new way of looking for a geocache so you may encounter some problems. The beta tests were successful but there was a time that we had to refresh the browser.
Hopefully that won't lose your place; it didn't for us.
~ Make sure you have adequate battery. We lost about 15% to 20% when testing.
You will probably lose less just playing, I was also editing.
~ I recommend that you do NOT close the active InterCache browser window
during play or you may have to start over.

I would appreciate hearing constructive comments on your experience. This is Florida's first and also my first. As always, thanks for playing, I hope you enjoyed the tour and the Intercache.

Special thanks to ChileHead for creating InterCaching!

IF POSSIBLE, we suggest you have another GPS enabled device with you as this Intercache tour takes you into areas where other local caches are very close by.
