GoldCircle: I think by anyone's measure, our co-hosts and guest's words say it all: "Special thanks to ... everyone who showed up and made us feel like we weren't strangers even though we had just arrived!" Such lovely words in the fine tradition of Irish hospitality. By now you understand that there are no strangers, only friends that have not yet met - and on behalf of us all, it was a pleasure to meet you both - I hope we managed to help you beat your jetlag!

Geocache Description:

Be it a pub, a winter walk, a coffee shop or an early-morning mountain insanity event, us Dublin cachers can say we are a friendly and sociable lot. It's time to extend our hospitality to visiting cachers APawInMyFace and FlossInMaToof, who are travelling to Ireland for a few days towards the end of August.

The event

This is a simple meet and greet to welcome APawInMyFace & FlossInMaToof to Ireland and share stories, bugs, coins and caching adventures between Ireland and the Florida. They will be arriving that morning from America, so will need some good lively company and something cold to beat the jetlag!

As with many previous successful events, it will take place in MacTurcaill's on Thursday 22nd August from 8:00pm. Plenty of drinks will be available (it's a bar after all), so, you will certainly be able to put a pint in your face. Putting a paw there is optional. We do, however, aim to put a smile there! Floss is optional, but advised.

Remember, it's an international meet and greet, so bring that geocoin collection for discovery! The event location is served well by bus, train and barstaff. No excuses, now!
