When I was a child we lived right across the lake here so I was always exploring and playing around the water. One day, during the winter season, I had a crazy idea to tie a rope to a tube and ride the rapids coming through the culvert under the road. I had a friend hold the rope while I was on the tube. There was about a foot of snow on the ground so it was cold, but I was crazy... Anyways my friend started playing around tugging on the rope. Needless to say I fell off into the freezing raging water and got swept under the brush. I fought with every bit of strength I had to pull myself against the current and out from under the trees and branches that grow across the creek bed here.... Cold, wet and near death I crawled back to the house. I'll never forget that day.
The Cache is an easy hide but the trees will throw off your GPS. there's an opening nearby you can sink up your GPS. Please put cache back as exactly as you found it, use nature to camo it and cover your tracks. and most importantly have fun!
