Geocache Description:

This is a neat little area, tucked away in Louisa, Northeast Creek Reservior.  The lake opened in 1987 to fishing. If you continue down this road you find this beautiful reservoir

This scenic 187-acre reservoir has about 30 acres of submerged standing timber, which provides excellent cover for fish and fishing opportunities for anglers. The lake contains largemouth bass, bluegill, redear sunfish, crappie, chain pickerel, and channel catfish. Because the County treats the reservoir periodically with copper sulfate, phytoplankton production is limited. This affects the entire food chain and reduces fish production. As a result, the fish populations are not abundant. However, because fishing pressure is relatively light, the bass and catfish populations do provide for some good angling. Channel catfish are stocked annually to maintain a healthy population. If you fish on a weekday, you're likely to enjoy a bit of solitude on this beautiful and relatively remote lake. It’s open year-round, one half hour prior to sunrise until one half hour after sunset. Gas powered motors are prohibited. Fishing is by permit

This is a relatively easy park and grab. There is parking area on the shoulder and relatively low traffic.  *Container was changed by geo partner (after posting went live! sorry about that ) it is big enough for lots of swag, oh and don't forget the pole!! (and your permit!)
