Tour De Morris Plains

Welcome to Morris Plains, the Community of Caring! Morris Plains history shows white settlements all the way back to the 17th century when a saw mill was founded in 1685 along the Indian paths that traversed the area. Morris Plains was incorporated as its own borough in 1926, being carved out from Hanover Township. The community's population has stayed steadily around 5,000 for the past few decades.

Most people know about Arthur's and the train station but do you know where the borough museum, walking path, and community gardens are located? Have you ever been to Watnong Gardens?

To solve this puzzle, you will go to all of these places in town and find the four other caches in the series to get the coordinates and code. This series is being published while that other Tour is going on in France so all except one of the caches can be easily accessed by bike. The best way to do the series is in the following order:
- Tour De Morris Plains - Watnong Gardens (recommend driving to this one)
- Drive to and park at the published coords for this cache
- Tour De Morris Plains - M.P. Museum
- Tour De Morris Plains - Walking Trail
- Tour De Morris Plains - Community Gardens
- Solve the puzzle and pick up the final
- Return to you car bolstered with your new-found appreciation for the borough. Following this path, you will cover about 4 mi on your bike.

The final cache can be found at:

N 40 aa.bbb
W 74 xx.yyy

When approaching the final cache, look for two birch trees. Between them you will find a trail to bring you to the final.

The final is near the location where that first saw mill was. At the cache, you will need to determine the word to open the cache and sign the log from the codes collected at the other 4 caches. The code is a natural feature that made this site ideal for the mill.

A crisp $2 bill awaits the FTF!
