This cache brings you to a rest area (with ample parking and picnic tables) by the Waipapa River and also part of Te Araroa, between Puketi Forest and Kerikeri township. GPS signal could be tricky but the cache is easily accessible without going near the water or dismantling the rock wall. Only two small rocks need to be moved to access the cache and please replace in the exact way to ensure the cache is secure and covered before leaving.
On placement, the cache contained logbook, pencil, stickers, nail polish, and a lion.
