Drowned Rats Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Alaskan Bev: Sad, but to save GR having to email me, I'm going to go ahead and archive this one. It was fun and brought back some happy memories of when Transformed placed it with me. I would not advise cachers hanging around this area or trying to place any caches here. The neighborhood has gotten too wild with some certain children mucking about. I know many of you will understand. If I ever find another such suitable place I'll try to drag Transformed out there to hide another one with me. Meanwhile, Cache on!

Geocache Description:

Roadside parking is fine; you'll be there less than a minute! It's up a paved road if you park on the road that enters the small subdivision, but it's a short walk.

MUGGLE ALERT! I'll be replacing this little hider twice a day if you are not careful in retrieving, signing, and replacing! You might need to sign it in your car (while glancing around at the beautiful trees, passing moose and bears, etc.). Cache comes before any driveways; big gray creek boulder to the left.

Transformed and I were visiting the area and hiking around awhile ago and could not resist the temptation to throw cottonwood fluffs into the little creek. We decided that they looked like drowned rats! Please do NOT drown rats!

The cache is only a couple of steps off of the pavement - no bushwhacking, no geotrail! Visible from the road if looking from the east. Face south to carefully retrieve and replace the cache to its lofty position. Adults should not need a ladder. No Zaccheaus tricks. Cache contains only my TM and a log.

Coords tend to settle down to those posted, averaged over half an hour of approaches from north, south, and east and using a new GPSmap 60CSx.

BYOP!

Yea - an FTF quartet! The akerdoc, AK Grani, and Svetty crew AND - big bonus here: TA-Da! Our own sweet Sugar and the inimitable fuzz!
Congratulations, all of you, and a Big Sportsmanship Award to fuzz for his extra pleasure!
