Detective Bubba, geocaching sidekick of SC whitty, found out that bears were not allowed to camp at Mile Creek Park so he decided to camp on an island across from the campground.
Detective Bubba, SC whitty's geocaching sidekick was dissapointed when he found out that bears were not allowed to camp at Mile Creek Park, so he decided he would make camp on an island right across from the park. He found that going on the backside of the island from the park there was a nice sandy beach for playing in the water and parking the boat. There is actually two islands here but with the water being so high you have to wade about waist deep to walk from one to the other. This islands are easily gotten to with a kayak or other floating device from the campground.
