The cache is hidden at Mullaghfad Church which is a very rural church in the Clogher Diocese of the Church of Ireland. It still holds occasional church services which may surprise you - it's started to appear a little neglected in recent years. There are some interesting headstones in the adjoining graveyard including those of 2 police officers who were murdered by the IRA back in May 1921, less than a month after the establishment of Northern Ireland. It's hard to imagine that an area of such peace could have experienced so much strife and bloodshed in recent and not so recent decades. There are some great forest walks in the area on both sides of the border. Come and enjoy the sound of absolute silence bar the birds singing that is.
