
The village of MacNutt is in the Churchbridge Rural Municipality #211, Saskatchewan. Formerly the district of Landestreu and in 1908 was renamed to honour Thomas MacNutt, the area Member of the Legislative Assembly at the time. MacNutt was settled between the late 1880s and the 1910s by immigrants of predominantly German origin.
The year 2013 marked MacNutt's centennial anniversary. The locals and visitors, from near and far, were entertained with a parade, town Bar-B-Q, dance and social, fireworks, and other events.
