Geocache Description:

Water tight box big enough for small trade items. Make sure to leave something if you take something! The box also has a notebook, a pen, a pencil and a story of a hanging that happened here.

This geocache is in memory of Jacob Heard. This location was where Butte used to hang people. It is located very close to the police station, Butte Jail, and the court house. Watch out for muggles! Hangings were once considered a social event in Butte. Come see where they took place! Good luck!
