Mega 2009 - The UK's Second Mega Event
A cache placed during the UK Mega 2013 Mega event to serve as a reminder of UK's 6th Annual Travelling Mega Event coming to the West Midlands in 2013.
The UK's Second Mega Event was held on Sunday 9th August 2009
at The Winter Gardens, Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset.

The week of events were organised by a committee of eight: Maple Leaf , *mouse*, Stuey, Wadders, TMM-Sarah, The Wombles, Icarus, Berrow Cachers
… with help from Birdman-of-Liskatraz, keehotee, Paradiddle and Lydford Locators.
Geocoins:
500 Weston-super-Mega geocoins were produced in the shape of a Somerset cider barrel with a red apple and worm icon. There were 450 gold coins that could be purchased as part of the ‘Supporters Pack’ and 50 limited edition black coins that were gifts for people that helped put the event together – either in advance or on the day. One of each of these has been placed in the UK Mega Event Ammo Can which will visit all future UK Mega Events.
500 Mega 2009 apple badges were also produced, which are the same design as the geocoin icon and sold out on the day.
